Our Chef


Featuring a commercial kitchen and a full kitchen staff, the Kappa Kappa Gamma house offers variety of healthy daily breakfast, lunch and dinner options from Monday through Friday, which includes our formal Monday Night Dinner and “Kappa Brunch” on Fridays.

The head of our culinary programs is our internationally-trained executive chef, Sven Gadzimski. Sven has an extensive resume including a 5-year training program specializing in the culinary arts and hospitality management in Germany. After his training, he spent years working in Michelin star-rated hotels and restaurants in Germany and Florida. Upon relocating to Los Angeles, Sven expanded his knowledge base working in catering, high-end cuisine and event management before coming aboard to work with us. He is not just our executive chef; he is also our culinary and nutritional consultant.

In addition to being the head of our kitchen, Sven works with our Student Food Committee and develops special menus for students with dietary restrictions and needs.  He implements meal plans that take into account the many varying needs of our sorority including gluten-free and dairy-free options, organic ingredients and healthy snacks.  Sven and his team are always open for ideas and suggestions as well as any food concerns our sisters might have.

Our meal plan includes made-to-order omelets on Fridays, homemade desserts and pastries, “Kappa Burger Day,” theme nights with international items, a salad bar, fresh fruits and berries as well as a coffee and juice station.  Don’t be surprised to see pink pancakes for Valentine’s Day or zombie finger cookies on our Halloween buffet.
